In my opinion I think it is a little out of touch for Dealer Communications to be having the Wolf of Wall Street as a speaker at the fairly major Digital Dealer conference in Vegas. Jordan Belfort, a convicted felon, is now speaking on business ethics. With the release of the movie last year this is either a ballsy move, or a dumb one. If I owned a dealership (and I consult with over 100 of them) there is no way I would be seen !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . What say OPPO, knowing alot of you are in the industry?

"Jordan Belfort's ambition and dedication to being successful is contagious", States Michael Roscoe, owner of the Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition, "His kind of passion can be applied to any industry or career, and produce incredible results. We're aiming to transfer that passion, for the benefit of our attendees"

As if anyone needed any proof that dealers DO NOT care about customers, only profits, they go and invite this asshole to teach them all how to better rip people off.
Wow.

Well we don't need to assume that Wolf of Wall Street was a documentary.

Oh. I thought it was. (the joke part of my comment)
He's still a convicted felon, who was convicted of the same sort of behaviors that most people despise dealers for to begin with, only he did them to investors, not car buyers. He's a perfect speaker to teach dealers how to treat customers fairly, enhance their ethics with regards to lending, etc. Right....
I don't care how much he has "learned" or "changed" since his conviction, he's not a great example to be given the spotlight at a conference for an industry that desperately needs to be told to do the opposite of what he's famous for.

Could be worse, they could have Bernie Madoff via satellite from prison.
